We Specialize in Older Newborns. Even if your baby is older, beautiful portraits are still possible,  sessions may simply include more awake images and gentle posing.

FAQs

  • We recommend booking during your second or early third trimester. We’ll reserve a tentative date 1–2 weeks after your due date, and once baby arrives, you’ll have full flexibility to adjust your session date through our booking system.

  • Not at all! We accept newborns up to 4 weeks old, and up to 8 weeks for babies with extended hospital stays. Just book the soonest date available, and we’ll take it from there.

  • Yes — we provide a curated collection of neutral-toned wraps, bonnets, and wooden props, along with timeless white setups. All included in your session.

  • Absolutely. Family and sibling portraits are included in select packages. Be sure to choose the package that fits your needs — and let us know if you’d like to add family portraits to your session.

  • We recommend soft, neutral tones such as white, beige, or light greys. Simplicity photographs best with newborns. Once booked, you’ll receive a full prep guide with wardrobe recommendations.

  • Newborn sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your package and baby’s needs. We allow time for feeding, comforting, and natural transitions to keep things peaceful and baby-led.

  • It’s totally normal! We take a gentle, baby-led approach. With years of experience, we know how to soothe, swaddle, and work at baby’s pace for beautiful results, no matter how the session flows.

  • You’ll receive a Fully Edited gallery to select your images within 7–10 days of your session.

  • We’re located in a private studio in South Houston (near the 77017 Hobby area). Exact address and arrival instructions will be sent to you upon booking.

  • You truly don’t need much. We provide all props, wraps, and accessories. Please bring extra milk (if bottle-feeding), a pacifier (if using), and diapers. For family photos, feel free to bring neutral outfits

  • Absolutely. We love to include one meaningful or heirloom item, such as a blanket, stuffed animal, or special outfit. Just keep in mind: we don’t use bright, themed props — we keep everything clean, timeless, and baby-led.

  • We specialize in natural, peaceful posing. No swings, buckets, guitars, or overstaged setups. Our sessions are focused on comfort, connection, and beauty — no stress, no forcing.

  • Yes! Parents are always welcome to stay nearby. Most families relax in the cozy seating area while we gently guide the session. You’re welcome to observe, rest, or enjoy a quiet moment while we capture everything.
