Our newborn sessions are baby-led, capturing cozy, heartfelt moments in a calm, warm space. We’ll mix in a few classic family poses, but the focus is all about natural, genuine memories.

The studio carries an array of props for your session, a number of these will be used during your appointment.

Day of shoot checklist

Take a minute to to look through this list. not everything is required but will help through out your session.

  • Your baby will stay in this bodysuit throughout the session, swaddled and posed with care.

    For added charm, we provide adorable sweaters to layer over bodysuits. This Keeps your little one comfortable during posing.

    Kindly arrive with baby already dressed in the bodysuit to ensure a seamless transition and avoid unsettling them.

  • Neutral or white outfits create a cohesive family look. Lay out your outfits the day before and try them on to avoid any last-minute surprises.

  • Helps soothe baby and keep them calm.

  • Bottles, nursing cover, or snacks for yourselves.

  • Parents’ hands will be posed with baby, so clean, groomed nails are ideal.

  • Mother

    Choose loose, neutral-toned clothing for comfort. Simple pieces can be found in your closet or at H&M.

  • Dad

    Blouses, sweaters, and simple t-shirts create a timeless, elegant, and effortlessly relaxed look.

  • Siblings

    For children, soft, neutral outfits like simple dresses or classic tops bring a charming and timeless touch to the photos.

  • Newborn

    Please bring baby dressed in a white or neutral bodysuit. They'll stay swaddled and posed in it throughout the session to keep them calm and comfortable.

Hair & Makeup Tips

We recommend a soft glam makeup look to enhance your natural beauty while still feeling like yourself. It adds a subtle touch of confidence, perfect for your session.

What to expect for your session.

  • 1 . Arrive

    When you arrive, I’ll greet you and ask a few quick questions about baby’s last feeding or nap. This helps us flow with their natural rhythm for the best portraits.

  • 2. Select your session color

    Upon your arrival, I’ll guide you to our selection of soft, cozy swaddles to choose a color. With your choice, I’ll create a unique and beautiful set tailored just for your little one.

  • 3. Studio Heat

    We adjust the studio temperature to a warm 75–80 degrees, creating a cozy environment to keep your little one comfortable and at ease throughout the session

  • 4. Family & Sibling Portraits

    We begin with family and sibling portraits, including family poses, mom and baby, dad and baby, Mom, Baby & Dad, and siblings together. This portion takes about 15 - 30 minutes. Afterward, you can relax and enjoy the rest of the session while watching television, or take a well deserved nap.

  • 5. Newborn Portraits

    At this point, I’ll focus on capturing baby-alone portraits, using soft white and neutral sets along with your chosen color. This part of the session is entirely guided by your little one’s comfort and needs, allowing for a relaxed and natural flow. It typically lasts about 15–45 minutes.

  • 6. Information and Farewells

    Once your session is complete, I’ll guide you through the editing process and explain how your images will be delivered. I’ll answer any questions to ensure everything is clear. Finally, we’ll say our goodbyes, and I’ll look forward to seeing you again for your little one’s milestone photos
